The pom pom trend is very popular right now and I am pretty sure that everything is cuter with a few pom poms added like these DIY pom pom trivets. Hey everyone! It’s Kara from A Kailo Chic Life, and I am so excited to share this tutorial for DIY pom pom trivets with you today. This craft is so simple and affordable, that the hardest part is choosing which colors to use!
DIY Pom Pom Trivets
By simply using store bought cork trivets and a few colors of felt and pom pom trim, you can create a colorful addition to your kitchen and useful addition to your table top.
The Supplies:
- Cork Trivets (I found mine at IKEA)
- Felt in your choice of colors
- Mini Pom Pom trim (I purchased mine off of Etsy but you can also find a few colors at the fabric store)
- Hot Glue gun, pen, and scissors

Begin by tracing your cork trivets on your felt. Once you have your circles traced, cut out the felt circles.

Now, use the hot glue to attach the felt circles to your cork. Then use the glue to attach the pom pom trim around the sides of the trivet and cut away the excess pom pom trim.

Once the glue has cooled, you are ready to use them anyway you see fit. Not only will these DIY pom pom trivets look cute displayed on the wall in your kitchen, but they will come in very useful at your next pot luck or family dinner. And wouldn’t they make the cutest hostess gift?

I hope you enjoyed these simple yet colorful DIY pom pom trivets. Feel free to check out my blog, A Kailo Chic Life, for even more craft and DIY ideas like my colorful confetti chair or mini succulent garden for your desk!
