Independence Day, or 4th of July, is one of my favorite holidays! I love how it brings our community together to celebrate our country’s independence and gets us outside having fun. And a good BBQ is always a hit! For my next Canon project, I am sharing Free Printables for 4th of July Utensil Holders!
4th of July Utensil Holders Printables
These easy paper utensil holders are easy to make and will make any BBQ festive! These could be used for Memorial Day, 4th of July, Veterans Day, Flag Day, ok, about any patriotic gathering or holiday!
These free printable utensil holders dress up any plastic utensil! I like to fold the napkin and slip it behind the fork, knife, and spoon in the utensil holders. That way your guests get everything they need with one item. You could also add a paper straw in there too!
These utensil holders are easy to make!
How to Make Paper Utensil Holders
Supplies:
- Hot Glue Gun
- Canon Matte Paper or White Cardstock
- Printer (I used my Canon PIXMA MG7720 Wireless Photo All-in-One Printer)
- Rotary Paper Trimmer or Scissors
- Bone folder (optional)
- Download the Free 4th of July Utensil Holders Printable files at the bottom of this post. Then print as many copies as you need. {they print 2 per sheet}
2. Using your paper trimmer or a good pair of scissors, trim off the excess paper around the design and cut in half along the gray line to make two separate utensil holders.
3. Then fold in half along the gray line just below the design. I like to use a bone folder to get a nice crisp fold, but it’s not necessary.
4. With your glue gun, put a bead of glue along the outer edges on the back of the square design. Then fold along the crease to form a pocket for your utensils. Repeat with as many 4th of July Utensil Holders as you need!

Ive been trying to decide whether to have our 4th July party utensils in pots or as single grab packs for our friends. Your holders have just won the battle. Thanks for a great idea
