So I had high hopes of being able to reveal today one of the big projects I’ve been working…..but neither of them are done yet. argh! Sometimes I wish there were twice as many hours during the day. Especially hours when the kids are sleeping haha. Oh well. So today all I have to show you is a quick glimpse at a huge makeover I’m working on right now, my Laundry Room. I have despised this room ever since we moved in. Its tiny, dimly lit, limited storage, major traffic area {that door leads to the garage}, and let’s face it, ugly. Its been on my list for a long time and we are FINALLY getting around to giving it some attention.
A quick sneak peak at the paint color I chose and my awesome little helper! And yes, there is not a drop cloth underneath him…That’s because we ripped up the linoleum….But that’s as much as I can tell you right now! Its getting a huge facelift and is actually turning out pretty! Makes me almost like to do laundry…almost! haha! Stay tuned in the next week or two for the final reveal of our laundry room!

I would love to have your “ugly” laundry room! Mine is sharing space with the furnace & water heater and the backside of the main basement ‘walls’ so I have the studs on the laundry room side. Rough shelving and a particle board platform for the machines all jammed into a small area. Not even could be considered rustic by any stretch of the imagination! I do have to admit that there is about the same amount of space between the machines and the furnace as you have between your machines and the wall!
I’m looking forward to seeing what you do!
I can’t wait to see what you come up with when your laundry room is complete. I’ve always wanted a laundry room instead of having to go to the basement. Even so, I should be grateful I don’t have to drag our laundry to the laundromat each week, right?
Your laundry room is almost identical to mine! Super tiny and the entry to garage.
What color paint did you use? I like it. I was looking at a bold, dark color but this lighter blue would probably work a lot better. :)
