Last week I shared my Valentine Wreath, which is part of my Valentine Mantle. This week I wanted to share the full mantlescape and an easy Valentine banner I made!
Valentine Mantle
My Valentine Mantle is a little rustic, a little sweet, and a whole lot of Valentine! You can click here for the Valentine Double Wreath tutorial.
My Valentine’s Day Wreath is definitely the focal point of my mantle! I made a fun rustic Valentine Banner using jute webbing and felt.
This is such an easy and cheap DIY Valentine Banner! I’ll share the quick tutorial below.
How to Make Jute Webbing Valentine Banner Tutorial
Supplies:
- Jute Webbing {preferably with red stripes}
- Hot Glue Gun
- Scissors
- Red Felt
- Twine
- Cut 10 pieces of jute webbing to 6″ long.
- Then fold one piece of jute webbing in half and cut off the end at an angle to create an pennant look. Repeat with remaining 9 pieces of jute webbing.
- Cut 10- 1″ red felt hearts.
4. Hot glue one felt heart onto each of the 10 jute webbing pennants.
5. Then hot glue the pennants to the twine, equally spaced apart. Leave extra length of twine on both sides of the banner so you can tie the banner up.
I found these cute little red sweetheart birds at Hobby Lobby. I think they are so charming and the perfect touch to my mantle.
So that’s my Valentine Mantle this year! I have enjoyed looking at it!
