I have been meaning to start my apron project for a friend of mine. I wanted to make her an apron while she works in her letterpress workshop, but haven’t had the time. I was going to use just a plain black cotton fabric and maybe transfer some photos I took of her children to use for the pockets. This is definitely motivating me to start it. Thanks!

I’m new to sewing, haven’t done it since I was a kid and my mom forced me to take a quilting class, but I just inherited my grandmothers machine. I bought some cute fabrics, including a chevron print from Hawthorne fabrics, and I can’t wait to try sewing something! It was like a kid in a candy store tring to pick my fabrics. Great blog! I enjoy it every day :)
