Home Made Simple TV Show

Home Made Simple TV

I love a good room transformation! I recently redid my Laundry Room and have big plans in the works for more home DIY projects in our new home this summer. With all this home business on my mind lately, it seems I’m more drawn to home shows on TV. My latest TV show crush is the Home Made Simple. It airs on Saturday mornings on the OWN network.

One of my favorite episodes was from last fall. I think it was one of their first episodes when they redid a husband and wife’s offices. The husband had had a lot of tragedy in his life, he’d witnessed both his parents murdered. He was an amazing man who overcame this tragedy and was able to turn it into a motivational speaking career. His wife helped others find jobs, so between the two of them, they gave so much to those around them. Each of them had an office in their home that, umm, needed a TON of help in the decor and organization departments. It was fun watching the transformation of each office space and see how much happiness it brought to the deserving couple. I love watching feel-good shows like that! It makes me not only happy, but I walk away inspired with ideas on how to make my own home better. And, by the way, I absolutely loved the coral and teal colors they used in the wife’s office space. Seriously a gorgeous combo!

I highly recommend tuning into Home Made Simple on Saturday mornings! Check out www.homemadesimpletv.com to find out more about the show and upcoming episodes. Home Made Simple is hosting some Twitter Parties. The next one is Thursday, April 3, 2014 from 8-9PM ET on the hashtag #homemadesimple.

Home Made Simple is my new Saturday morning routine and design destination! Be sure to tune in on Saturday mornings at 9am/8c, only on OWN.
