The holidays is a very popular time of year to send cards and greetings to friends, family, and loved ones. Today I’m sharing one simple holiday note card Four different ways using the same 4 supplies! Super easy, super cute, and super fast. You can’t beat it!
Washi Tape Holiday Notecards
Supplies:
- Kraft Note Cards and Envelopes
- Holiday Stamp and Ink
- Scissors
- http://www.scotchbrand.com/wps/portal/3M/en_US/ScotchBrand/Scotch/ in Red berries and Solid Red
First I made a custom Joy Stamp for my cards. Purchased holiday stamps work just fine too :). I cut the ‘Joy’ design in Stamp Material with my Silhouette Portrait. Then stamped onto the kraft paper using black ink.
Then pull out that washi tape and add all kinds of different designs and patterns! When you use washi tape, you can easily tear the washi tape or you can cut it with scissors. Depending on the look you are going for and how you are using your washi tape will help you decide how you are going to trim your tape. In some DIY holiday notecards designs that I’m sharing, I rip the tape and others I use my scissors to cut the tape.
This first holiday note card is very simple. I used just the red Scotch® Washi Tape to create a simple, sleek border for #1 stamped holiday notecard.
For notecard #2, I used the solid red Scotch® Washi Tape and the Red Berries pattern as well and just added small accents to both the stamped notecard and the envelope. Note that I tore the ends of the tape for a less formal look.
Holiday Notecard #3 I used the Scotch® Red Berries Washi Tape to completely outline the envelope which makes it look completely custom. Then I added the Red Berries tape to just one edge of the notecard.
Notecard #4 I added 2 washi tape accents to the envelope and 3 accents to the notecard.
With just a few simple supplies, you can create custom holiday note cards in minutes!
I hope these easy holiday washi tape notecards got your ideas flowing as your planning your holiday cards!
How do you use washi tape on your holiday greeting and note cards? Do you send holiday cards?
