As you can probably guess, we have a huge Dinosaur Train fan here! This little guy loves dinosaurs and had so much fun helping me pick out which dino to put on his shirt and what fabric to use. {its not a “spikey dinosaur”, its a “Stegosaurus”. ahem}

I used my Silhouette CAMEO to cut out the fabric dino and then I sewed it onto a plain white t-shirt with my sewing machine. It was really easy to do and I love that using a CAMEO makes it easy to get unique appliques. For a tutorial on how to cut fabric with a Silhouette CAMEO, click here.
New Silhouette Products
Dust Cover: They made a snug, lightweight dust cover that you can slip on and off your CAMEO to protect it while its not in use.
Fabric Cutting Blade: you know how you have fabric scissors and paper scissors because cutting paper dulls them? Well, the same concept applies to Silhouette blades. Silhouette has a new blue Fabric Blade so that its easy to distinguish which blade is for cutting fabric and which blade is for cutting paper.
Specialty Media: Silhouette now has Double Sided Adhesive, Printable Gold/Silver Foil, Printable white Sticker paper, and Adhesive Magnet paper.
Silhouette also introduced a couple new colors of vinyl and new Glitter products.

Whoops I was supposed to answer the question. I would cut mostly card stock but I would also cut fabric and vinyl too.

Well, probably fabric and vinyl, mostly. Possibly some light plastic for stencils.
I would love a Cameo! I have seen some amazing things done with t hem….and now I need to try them too! I could for sure use it to decorate my new classroom and make a Curious George t-shirt for niece when she goes in for surgery! I hope I win, I need some good crafting help in my life!

I think I’d probably cut vinyl & scrapbook paper the most – lots of crafty/decorative ideas! Fabric too though – I’ve got a little one who would love some superhero shirts to go with his various masks. He’s got jammies, but they’re all long-sleeved, some tees with superhero logos would be fun to make for him with the Cameo!
