Paper Straw Witch Brooms
Need a last minute Halloween Party favor? You have to make these EASY Striped Paper Straw Witch Brooms! They are a breeze to make and use only a handful of supplies. AND they’re seriously adorable and perfect for all ages! {my boys are flying them all over my house!} With a little supervision, these paper straw witch brooms make a fun Halloween Kids craft!
DIY Halloween Party Favor
You could attach a simple tag that says, “Thanks for flying by!” or “Fly Safe!”
How to make Striped Paper Straw Witch Broom Tutorial
Supplies:
- Striped paper Straws {black, purple, and lime green}
- Scotch® Expressions Magic™ Tape {Purple}
- Scotch® Expressions Magic™ Tapein {Lime Green}
- Hot glue gun
- Hot glue
- Scissors
- Raffia
How to Make Paper Straw Witch Brooms
- Cut the paper straws in half so that they measure approx. 3.8″ long.
- Put hot glue around one end of a paper straw.
- Then press raffia over the hot glue and hold for a few seconds until the hot glue dries.
- Wrap Scotch® Expressions Magic™ Tape around the top of the raffia.
- Trim off the excess raffia with your scissors.
- Gently fluff the raffia to make it stick out a bit and add more of a witch-ey look.
- Repeat Steps #2-6 for each paper straw piece. Then have fun handing out this Halloween!

What a cute idea! I was thinking about those pixie stix candy straws and using double stick tape instead of hot glue to adhere the raffia. Thanks!
