Halloween Jars using Silhouette Print & Cut + CAMEO Giveaway!

Happy Wednesday! Usually I post giveaways tomorrow {thursdays}, but I’m sure you don’t mind if I do a Silhouette CAMEO giveaway today, right?! Okay, so first I’m going to show you my latest Cameo project, Halloween Apothecary Jar labels using Silhouette’s Print and Cut feature. I’ll be honest, I haven’t used this feature much, but after this project, I am completely sold! I am seriously going to use this all the time now!

I used Silhouette’s NEW printable white sticker paper to make these creepy labels for my apothecary jars. Aren’t they wicked? LOVE them! And they were beyond easy to make.

Don’t know what a Silhouette CAMEO is? Its a digital cutting tool that hooks up to your computer like a printer. But instead of printing, it cuts out designs with a small blade. It’s pretty sweet! Read my full Silhouette Cameo review here.

Print and Cut

I won’t lie, I was a bit scared of the Print and Cut feature of the Silhouette Cameo, but now that I’ve done it and seen how easy {and freakin awesome!} it is, I am hooked. There is a lot you can do with this feature.

I simply opened these labels {design from Silhouette’s online store}, resized it, then hooked up my printer to my computer. Then clicked the printer icon and printed the design out with Registration Marks on the white sticker paper. Then hooked up my Cameo to my computer, clicked on the Cameo icon and cut out the designs. It cut the sticker labels out cleanly and then I put them on my apothecary style Halloween jars. SO EASY!!

I love your pinterest and blog. You have so many clever and cute ideas. I’ve already shared several pinterest ideas with friends and family. The only trouble is trying side which one will make first! My husband and I moved to Sandy Utah with our small children in 1985 from Jacksonville Arkansas. So we have family and friends in Arkansas that I share pinterest ideas with as well as family in Alabama and also here in Utah. We are all fans of pinterest so I will definitely be sharing you pinterest and blog with each of them. They will love Craftaholics Anonymous!!! And I am ready to make Halloween crafts now too! BTW I am hooked on polka dots too! They make me feel so young! :o)
