Happy Friday, Crafters! Erin is here to show off her amazing craft room! enjoy! -linda
Hey everyone! I’m Erin from How to Nest for Less!
I’m pretty stoked to be sharing my recent craft room makeover with Linda and her fabulous fans!
When trying to come up with a design for my small craft room (it’s only 10x10ft), I knew one thing was important… organization! C’mon, let’s take a peek inside my space!
My hubby and I built the 10ft long desk ourselves using stock white cabinets from Lowe’s. We now have plenty of storage for my craft stash in the cabinets and the drawers, plus there’s still two places to sit. The 10ft long desk top also provides a great tabletop workspace, even for the larger projects.
I also wanted everything to be within an arms’s reach. Two 2x3ft framed peg boards sit above the desk, both packed with tools and accessories.
On the desktop I have mason jars filled with goodies… paintbrushes, decorative scissors, writing utensils and hand tools.
I even added some silverware organizers in the drawers to help arrange my smaller items (like buttons, washi tape and resin flowers).
My Silhouette Cameo now has a special place right on the desktop, and my vinyl and tools are tucked away neatly the a drawer.
I added a fun and funky color pattern on the floor using Flor carpet tiles that I installed myself! See the tutorial here.
And some leftover fabric scrap strips turned into a window valance!
Yep, everything I need within an arm’s reach…
And the perfect space to work and play!
I hope you enjoyed the tour of my new craft room. I still have a couple of improvements to make so I hope you’ll stop by my blog to keep up with my current projects and adventures!
And thanks again Linda for having me visit for the day.
Much ♥ to everyone, Erin

Very Cute! I think my favorite part is the pegboard frames.
Looks great! :)
GReat room! Nice and neat and light and bright! (sounds like i’m rhyming on purpose…but i’m not! LOL!)
My room is about the same size, but alas, far more filled with my schtuff! ;) I have a small closet i took the door off of and that houses supplies too.
So fun to see your space! TFS! :)
Fantastic craft room. She has a lot of good ideas for organization that are very budget minded. Makes me want to reconsider the layout of mine when I see that long tabletop. Thanks for the tour!
10×10 is not a small room. my master bedroom is only 1 foot longer in 1 direction than your craft room. like the peg board and mason jars though.
Nice clean and simple space. What did you use as the desk top? We’re did you get it? Trying to create my own space without spending a lot of money. Trying to find an inexpensive and less permanent alternate to putting a counter top in…
Can you please tell me the dimensions of the cabinets you used and what you used for the table top?
