this was one of those projects that i pictured looking completely different in my head. i started over a couple times, changed what i was doing, and basically did it completely different than i’d planned. BUT once i got them on the wall next to each other, i didn’t just like them, i loved the look! the feminine flower paired with the earthy cork board creates a unique feel.
**when we move to our next house and i can paint the walls all kinds of fun colors, these babies are going to rock! i mean, don’t get me wrong, they look fab even on cream walls, but i’m thinking a kelly green or a dramatic plum or a deep red behind them would look a*mazing! haha ok, so like any color but cream ;)**
i made the flowers using the same technique that i used to make my bib necklace in yesterday’s post. {expect a tutorial tomorrow}
i’m totally digging these flowers right now. the folds and ruffles make them so pretty.
add a little dark, natural cork board and you have an easy eye catching wall hanging.
i got the dark 12×12 cork board at my local craft store :)

These are so nice! They look great just on the cream walls, but you are right they would really pop with some color behind them!!
