Bump Nest Review

So as you may know, I just had baby #3 a couple weeks ago {and it was a GIRL!! YAYYYY! and yes, I will post pics on here soon! For now, follow me on Instagram to see my little princess :} Well, today we’re talking pregnancy and I’m going to let you in on my secret pregnancy lifesaver, the Bump Nest body pillow! {And the ironic thing is, today was my due date. haha!}

Bump Nest

Oh my goodness, this pillow saved my sanity! Especially those last couple months of pregnancy. I carry my babies very, very low. As in, I can’t put my knees together {let alone cross my legs!} the last 2 months of pregnancy. Which makes sleeping on my side SUPER uncomfy! But the Bump Nest pillow made it so that I could lie on my side to sleep and be comfortable. The BN pillow is in the shape of a candy cane and you put the long side between your knees. This made it possible for me to sleep in my third trimester!

maternity pillow

Now I’m not much of a pillow person, but the Bump Nest was my newest BFF. Trust me. Its super soft and easily molds to your body. The filling is the perfect balance of softness and firmness that feels amazing. I had tried using a regular body pillow for my first pregnancy….and that lasted all of one night! It didn’t work. After trying the Bump Nest for one night, I was hooked! I slept with it for months and loved it. If you snuggle it from head to toe, it can get a bit toasty. But I would have it under my head and push it away from my torso and then curl it back under my knees. That made it so I didn’t get so hot. {got to love those pregnancy hormones that make you roast year round!}

pretty fabric

And they come in the prettiest fabrics! Chevrons, florals, peacock feathers, scallops, and more! I love products that are both functional AND pretty and the Bump Nest is both! Sometimes I think maternity and mom products get too matronly looking. So I love the fresh, young vibe of BN!

This is the fabric I chose. Yellow and mint. Yummy!

bump nest relief system

I’m one of the lucky ones who does not get acid reflux during pregnancy. {thanks to how low I carry!} But for those who are struck with the dreaded acid reflux, Bump Nest has this brilliant relief system that elevates your upper body to help with acid reflux.
