Halloween Jars using Silhouette Print & Cut + CAMEO Giveaway!

Happy Wednesday! Usually I post giveaways tomorrow {thursdays}, but I’m sure you don’t mind if I do a Silhouette CAMEO giveaway today, right?! Okay, so first I’m going to show you my latest Cameo project, Halloween Apothecary Jar labels using Silhouette’s Print and Cut feature. I’ll be honest, I haven’t used this feature much, but after this project, I am completely sold! I am seriously going to use this all the time now!

Halloween Jars

Halloween Jars

I used Silhouette’s NEW printable white sticker paper to make these creepy labels for my apothecary jars. Aren’t they wicked? LOVE them! And they were beyond easy to make.

Don’t know what a Silhouette CAMEO is? Its a digital cutting tool that hooks up to your computer like a printer. But instead of printing, it cuts out designs with a small blade. It’s pretty sweet! Read my full Silhouette Cameo review here.

Print and Cut

I won’t lie, I was a bit scared of the Print and Cut feature of the Silhouette Cameo, but now that I’ve done it and seen how easy {and freakin awesome!} it is, I am hooked. There is a lot you can do with this feature.

I simply opened these labels {design from Silhouette’s online store}, resized it, then hooked up my printer to my computer. Then clicked the printer icon and printed the design out with Registration Marks on the white sticker paper. Then hooked up my Cameo to my computer, clicked on the Cameo icon and cut out the designs. It cut the sticker labels out cleanly and then I put them on my apothecary style Halloween jars. SO EASY!!
