i teamed up with Kori from Paper & Pigtails {go check out her gorgeous designs!} to design these cute finger puppets for christmas. there are loads of christmas printables out there, but i wanted a fun activity or craft to help teach my little guys about the true meaning of christmas. and this set of nativity finger puppets is perfect for this!

christmas kid craft

as you can see, these paper finger puppets are a hit in our home!

To Make Paper Finger Puppets

1. first print off the free download for the Nativity Finger Puppets.

2. let your little person color the little figerines.

3. cut out each character. {there are 2 of each figure on each puppet so that it shows on front and back of your finger. brilliant idea, Kori!}

4. fold in half along the dotted line.

5. tape the 2 long sides together to leave the bottom open for a finger.

6. insert finger to make a puppet!

aren’t these so perfect for “reenacting” the Christmas story? or to use while reading the Christmas story from the bible to engage your younguns?

    Oh Linda, I so glad you did this! I have been looking for months for simple images of the Nativity. I want to make blocks for the nursery room in our church and haven’t been able to find uncolored pictures or even scrapbook stickers to use. These are perfect because I can add more sheep and other items so there are more blocks to play with. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

    Thanks for the great take home project for my 3&4 year old class! Was looking at a lot of different ways to tell the Christmas story but the manger scene still says it best!
