rhinestones. I won’t life, i’m not a real big rhinestone person. {maybe because i have 2 little boys, who knows?} but when Silhouette wanted me to try out their Rhinestone products i thought rhinestones might be kinda fun to play with if my Silhouette was involved! i made this Breast Cancer Awareness shirt with pink and clear rhinestones. {i had planned to run the Susan G. Komen race that’s coming up in Richmond and thought i’d wear cute shirt, but it looks like i won’t be running it after all. darn it. but i have a really cute pink shirt for next year!!! }
using a Silhouette to cut out a template was rather slick and helpful in creating a uniform design. i can totally see moms with little girls using these Rhinestones like crazy!! they would be really cute on onesies, jeans, pants, jackets, etc.

Oh man….I was already bummed I didnt win a silhouette in the contest last week..now I am super bummed :( I am walking with a group of almost 50 friends to support our friend Allison who just last month recd her last chemo treatment, she just turned 31 and was diagnosed with breast cancer last fall, with 3 little kiddos 5 & under she went thru a double masectomy & harsh chemo treatments..we are walking in the CNY Susan G Komen Race for the Cure on 5/14 & man I would love to make us all these shirts to wear or put our team name “Al’s Rack Pack” on them in rhinestones……….aaahhh….anyone out there wanna lend me one of these amazing machines and enough bling to make this happen!??!? :)

I’m so sorry about your friend!! So sad! Hey if you want the rhinestones pack I got from Silhouette to make breast cancer shirts, I’ll send them your way. You don’t need a Silhouette to use them. The Silhouette just cuts out a template for a design, but you can totally use the rhinestones and make your own designs. Shoot me an email if you would like it.
