I despise cooking during the summer! {who doesn’t, right?} We do a lot of grilling and eating outside during the summer months. So its very important to me to keep our outdoor living space clean and tidy. I recently did a “Summer Cleaning” to get our patio ready to go for the season. Check it out!

Doesn’t it look good?! This is After cleaning, new pillows, and a string of colorful mini lanterns. I love how just adding new pillows can update and refresh an outdoor space! And right now, a lot of stores have their outdoor decor marked down. So I was able to snag those pillows for 30% off!

Procter & Gamble sent me some products to help me get my patio up to speed this summer. I used Mr. Clean Outdoor Pro to clean up my patio furniture. And let me tell you, Mr. Clean Outdoor Pro was awesome!! It cut through the grime and grease and made my furniture look great.

I try to keep a bucket/basket in the main rooms and pick up stray items as I pass through. Then later, I can sort those items back to the room they really belong in.
I use vinegar with so many other cleaners to help cut through grime and grease.
My fav cleaning trick is using dryer sheets to wipe baseboards clean.
I have found old bounce sheets do amazing job at taking soap scum off of shower walls and glass shower doors! Just tried to clean my grill yesterday I’m going to have to buy some of this stuff!
Keep up with the dishes or you will have a big job for yourself later.
I use a mixture of 1/4 cup of baking soda in 1 quart warm water to clean our pool toys! Helps get rid of that mildew odor!
I hate scrubbing, so I use Mr Clean Magic erasers for most of my tough cleaning jobs, I use it in the crafts room to clean my dried gourds and erase pencil marks too!
I use vinegar and dawn dishsoap to mop my floors
I (try to) do a little bit every day, so it doesn’t get overwhelming. though it never seems to be really clean and put away so maybe not so effective

My favorite cleaning tip is to clean early and clean often. Start first thing in the morning and spend the day cleaning little bits at a time. It never feels like a huge hassle and by the end of the day your house will be in good shape!
Empty the sink of the dishes at night before you go to sleep.
I clean as I cook to keep the mess at the end to a minimum!
My favorite cleaning tip is to use Fantastic with Oxy Clean! That stuff works on EVERYTHING!
I’v e used the Mr Clean magic erasers to easily get off scuffs from white base boards and floors! I love them because I don’t have to carry around a bucket of water.
I find that vinegar cleans up a lot of organic pet stains.

I use the Mr. Clean Magic erasers for lots of things marks on walls and scuff marks on the bottom of wooden doors.
my tip is to stock up on magic erasers because they are amazing!
No real tips or tricks here…except that vinegar works for just about everything! I’ve replaced a lot of my household cleaners with a vinegar/water mixture…safe around the kiddos, and it does the job well:)
I like using comet for cleaning out the sink
I try to wipe down the shower door each morning after my shower to keep soap scum from building up.
My favorite cleaning tip is to let things soak in water or cleaner. That does half the work for you.
mr clean eraser will clean anything!
Mr. Clean magic erasers are the only thing that cleans all the textured plastic surfaces on my appliances. Really gets in to those tiny nooks.

My newest cleaning tip would have to be Goo Gone… I’ve tried it on a dress shirt pocket that my Husband left a stick of gum in it. I also found it works really well along with a Magic Eraser to get packaging tape sticky off of glass!
Using an essential oil like Lemon can really make things smell nice and get stickyness out of the carpet

I use newspaper for streak-free shine when drying freshly washed windows.
My only cleaning tip or trick is baby steps. I love the FLYlady site. It teaches you to break things down into zones so you’re not overwhelmed. :)
Vinegar cleans everything!

I don’t really have many tricks. I like to start first thing in the morning before I can get distracted. It seems I get distracted and nothing gets clean. I love putting dryer sheets in my cupboards for an extra scent.
Water & vinegar + old newspapers gets your windows so ridiculously clean. I’ve cleaned the windows this way for years!
I am not the best housekeeper ever, if I get overwhelmed I remind myself “pick up one thing at a time!”
