Family Room update

Hey Crafters! I’ve been decorating in my Family Room again and can’t wait to show you some fantastic new pieces I’ve added! I love love LOVE how my Family Room is coming together.

I went shopping at one of my favorite stores, World Market and took advantage of their Friend and Family event which gave me an extra 25% off my entire purchase. AND that was on top of the 10% off most of the items because they were already on sale. So I saved a lot of money and scored crazy awesome deals!

I love the unique, colorful style of goodies you can find at World Market. You can find such unique, one-of-a-kind pieces at World Market. That’s what makes them so awesome to me. I love finding things that are just a little different, so this store fits my style perfectly.

This side table kind of rocks my world. The casters, the rustic metal, the distressed wood. Its perfect! {check out my instagram in the store} And we got it for a great price. I think I may add a basket on the bottom shelf for more storage. {can you ever have too much storage?}

And this lamp? swoon! Isn’t it adorable? The streetlight look, love it! And the green is just lovely. I want lots of fun colors in my Family Room, so I love the pop of color it offers.

I snagged the lamp, side table and a couple throw pillows at World Market. The blue pillows have such a nice texture and the chunky buttons are so nice.

    The side table and lamp are both EXACTLY what I’ve been envisioning for my family room for the last few months! They would go so great with the throw pillows i’ve been planning on making for it. Totally wishing we had World Market in Australia right now!

    I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that side table!!! I’m really liking the industrial look these days! (Unusual for a 55-year-old who’s always been into either traditional or country style!!) I’m really wanting something I saw on Pinterest ~ a couple of baking racks (like the ones they use in bakeries to put cookie sheets on) to use as shelving in my craft room. They are great because the shelves are adjustable ~ you just use wood boards for your shelves. I’d be overjoyed if I could find a couple of those racks for cheap!!
