Monogram Lampshade

Looking for a cheap, easy way to update an old lamp shade? Why not add a monogram vinyl decal? Super easy and looks totally awesome! Personalizing your decor always turns a house into a home, I think. This fun little craft added tons of character to a blah lampshade plus it looks totally awesome with the stenciled wall in my craft room. And who doesn’t love a good monogram?! Instead of buying a new lampshade, jazz up the one you have!

monogram lamp shade. This looks awesome! Easy to do too.  I used three simple square frames around a typewriter “g” for my monogram design. I love typewriter font g’s and use them for most of my monogram projects! {see here and here} Typewriter G’s look totally rad, so of course I put one on my lampshade. I cut this monogram design out with my Silhouette CAMEO in black vinyl and then used transfer tape, hook, and scraper tool to apply. {if you want to enter to win a Silhouette CAMEO, I’m giving one away here!} Quick, easy craft that any skill level can do!

So that’s my Happy Crafters project for this month. This craft definitely made me happy :) You can connect with Happy Crafters on TwitterFacebook, and Pinterest.
