Our little man turned 1 today! Happy Birthday! Crazy to think one year ago we were in the hospital with a baby in our arms. Especially since he wasn’t due for another 3 weeks! He started out little, not even 5 pounds, but he’s made a huge impact on our lives and hearts. We love him so much! I really believe that babies are life’s greatest blessings.

First, I loved your tutorial!
Second, (and more importantly) does your son put him self to sleep? and if so… HOW did you do it? My hubby and I had our little one putting himself to sleep at night but he would cry at least 15 minutes every night. Then he was sick and I rocked him to sleep while he was sick. Now if I dont rock him to sleep, he is screaming and crying endlessly and I cant help but going in there and getting him. Its hard because we live with my inlaws so he is in the same room as us so I cant go to bed at the same time that he is putting himself to sleep. Anyways, if you have any advice Id love to hear it. :)

That cake is awesome! My son turns one on Valentines Day :) He was early too (by two weeks) but his fat little self still weighed 8 lb 5 oz!
