Happy Tuesday, Crafters! I have some more Patriotic Crafts coming your way today!
Patriotic Crafts
Just like road trips, you have to have candy when you watch the fireworks! I made these cute little milk carton candy boxes for our 2 little rascals. I love how they have the poor spout to dispense the candy and then fold closed. Very handy features when dealing with littles!
{do you spot the washi tape?? love that stuff!}
I used my Epic 6 Die cutting tool, nesting stars die cut, a Label It die cut, 4×4 Parade alphabet die, and milk carton die cut to create the candy boxes.
Paper Bunting
I had lots of comments on the mini paper bunting from my 4th of July Mantel. I strung it on a milk glass plate. {did you know i collect milk glass? you can see more of my milk glass collection here}
How to Make a Paper Bunting
I used the pennant die with my Epic 6 die cutting tool.
- Cut out pennants using 5 different pattern papers, preferably cardstock. Scraps work great for this!
- Then I sewed across the top of each pennant using a dark blue thread. Make sure to back stitch at the beginning and the end. I hung the bunting across my plate using small glue dots.
The only way to make a bunting cuter, is to make it in mini!

LOVE the mini paper bunting!!! I will probably make these for every holiday. LOL But I am wondering how you held the pieces together, while sewing them? Thanks for the great ideas.
