A ribbon banner is one of the most versatile crafts you can do to show team pride! You can use a ribbon banner in lots of different ways: on coolers, on the side of your car, on your car hood or hatch, on chairs, bleachers, or a fence. It can be used and reused many times in many different ways. I used a variety of ribbon colors and widths for my banner. To make, simply fold small pieces of ribbon around cording or twine and hot glue in place. Use scissors to snip the ends into a pennant style.

One of the fastest and easiest ways to add a little team spirit to your tailgating, is to add a bow to your cooler’s handle! Takes minutes and looks great! This is especially great to do when your cooler isn’t a team color. I used 1.5″ wide polka ribbon paired with 5/8″ wide blue stripe ribbon for our cooler.

Whip up some simple Felt Spirit Coozies, add a touch of ribbon in your team’s colors and you just made your drink a little more happy! For my coozies, I used white craft felt, 1.5″ wide blue and gold printed ribbon, 7/8″ wide navy ruffle ribbon, 3/8″ wide blue polka dot ribbon, and hot glue.
