a few weeks ago, i got an email from Meagan, a 12 yr old crafty girl who set the lofty goal to make a different flower for her hair every single school day starting last fall. yeah. wow! and so far, she has done it!! props Meagan! {high 5!} since she has a limited budget, she has had to be super creative and make flowers out of all sorts of things: monopoly money, straws, newspaper, etc. she definitely got the creative bug, that’s for sure! :) anyways, i wanted to help her out and see if you guys would link up ideas for flowers she could make. tutorials would be helpful, but even just a picture may help her create out.

I think this is a sweet gesture and props to her for setting a very cool goal and sticking to it! Because I am not crafty like that I will not be participating but I can't wait to see what every does!

Hope Megan finds some of the flowers I've linked useful. I've recycled magazines, book pages and brochures for some of mine. And there are step-by-step tutorials for most of them.
Thanks for having this flower party. I hadn't realised until I linked up that my craft projects featured so many handmade flowers.
