*Don’t forget the Recessionista Giveaway ends TONIGHT* I made my very first singed flower! Wahoo! Isn’t it cute? I put it on a baby headband made with a white knee-high for my friend. She’s due to have a baby girl next month. awww!
For baby showers gifts, like to give something practical as well as something fun. Of course this was the “fun” item. Although, I would dare say that a headband is a necessity for any baby girl and therefore, very practical :) {yes, this is coming from a girl with a headband fetish}
I love making baby headbands out of knee highs. They’re the perfect size for a baby’s head and so easy. And I think I’m going to make me a headband very similar to this one, but nix the knee high…

Very very cute! I would love to know how to make this one. Even though I don't have little girls– I like the flowers for myself too! Good job!
So darling! I am obsessed with these flowers too. They are fun to make and so cute. I have been wearing a couple headbands myself. That baby is going to be so cute with it on!
Love it! So so cute. I love babies with headbands on…my daughter wore one everyday! I think it adds a little personality to any outfit!
Are you going to sell these cut headbands? I have a new niece and she would be so cute in this.
Love it.
Super cute. I've been making these flowers since December, and I can't stop! LOL
Love the knee high idea. Very clever!

That is way cute! I love it! I also would love to see how exactly to make these! I have a niece that was just born at the end of November and my other niece is due in March! It would be perfect!
You can also get headbands at the family dollar that work great with bows for baby girls. Depending on the headband, you can get 3 or 4 for $1.
ohhh i love this – esp since i grow such bald little baby girls LOL :D
This is adorable, you are amazing! Are you going to do a tutorial on this?
This is so pretty! I am keeping my fingers crossed for a tutorial… :)

I had never thought of using knee highs. What a great idea! Thanks for the tip.
I love the knee high idea. I can't find a headband small enough or comfortable enough for my baby girl. I made some headbands with flowers like this as Christmas presents. Check it out here…

I also LOVE headbands! But I can't seem to find any cute ones in any stores…lame! So, obviously, I think I need to try my hand at making some. I just LOVE your zipper flower…and the idea to put it on a headband! I'm so excited to try it out.
How did you make this headband from knee highs? :)
Would you PLEASE show how to make these. They are so cute. I love the knee high headbands. They still work for my two year old as well.
I would love the tutorial…I would hate to burn my house down in the making of a hair bow!
Thank you so much Linda! It is super, super cute. She's going to look so adorable with it on!
Thanks for this idea, I tried it out and I LOVE it!!! After making eight little flowers, my thumb is a bit worn out, I kept on burning myself. I love you blog. I wish I were are as cute as you, so I could pull off wearing head bands!
