Last Minute Valentine

Hi crafters! I’m popping in for a second to share a super easy last minute idea for Valentine’s Day. I’m a busy bee over here getting ready for my Birthday Bash {which starts tomorrow!!} so I’m throwing together a couple easy Valentines.

With chalkboard all the rage in the crafting world right now, when I saw a bottle of pink Americana chalkboard paint I knew I had to do something with it for V-day! and this is the little handmade valentine’s day gift I made with it….

diy chalkboar craft

Cute, simple, and easy. Can’t beat that!

handwritten love notes

I then cut up 1″x4.5″ strips of computer paper and wrote things that I love about Davis and them put in the jar. {i think he’s going to love the pink jar, don’t you? ha!} But seriously, its what’s inside the jar that matters, right? {wink wink} Although I had a lot of fun doodling on the outside of the jar…..

The best part about this project is, I used a peach jar so I didn’t have to buy a glass jar from the store.

So that’s a simple, sweet chalkboard craft to help bring the love into your home this week! Or its cute for an activity to do with the kids to give to their grandparents.

Oh and a little insider tip, DecoArt is coming out with a clear Chalkboard paint this spring so that you can turn any surface into a chalkboard. umm, hello awesomeness!! I’m totally dying to get my hands on some.

I hope you’ll join me this week. I’m so excited! lots of giveaways and fun for sure!!
