 Craft Room

I am Natalie from Johnny In A Dress and I am thrilled to be sharing my Craft Room with y’all today!

This is where I spend most of my day:

craft room

And if I am not there, then I am most likely here:

fabric cutting

Pairing fabrics, cutting away and creating fun things!
(Isn’t that old ice cream churn turned trash can neat?!? I found it on the side of the road!)

window frame

Here is a look of the craft/playroom when walking in from the dinning room!

green rug

I like to display my fabric scraps and other crafting supplies anywhere I can! Like on this fun shelf!

craft room cabinet

Yes, I found it on the side of the road. You can see that transformation here!

This is what I see when I look behind me while I am sewing. My cutting table in the corner was given to me by my mother in law a long time ago. It was used as a kitchen island in our old house and now serves as the perfect cutting table! The shelves hold tons of fabrics that are ready to be used! We love our little Sitting Stools! And there is my spray painted sofa – you can see that transformation here!

playroom craft room

This is what you see when you walk into the playroom from the foyer:

The top of the filing cabinet turned out to be one of my favorite spots! I love to display my favorite fabrics because they inspire me!

…And so do happy quotes too!

fabric storage

There it is!
Our craft/playroom!

If you want to peek inside of my drawers, you can here!

fabric organization

Not too shabby for an room that pretty much cost NOTHING!

I would love for you to come by Johnny In A Dress and check out my other tutorials and fun ideas!

Thanks for the tour, Natalie! I met Natalie at Snap this year and she’s a cutie! So make sure to stop by her blog, Johnny in a Dress and check it out. She just had a sweet little baby!

Stop by tomorrow for another new craft room tour! You can check out previous craft room tours here.

happy crafting,

Linda

About Linda@CraftaholicsAnonymous

Hi! I'm Linda, the craft addict behind Craftaholics Anonymous®, a craft blog. Crafting is cheaper than therapy, right? When not crafting, I can be found chasing my 2 small {but very energetic!} boys or playing with my new baby girl. Or shoe shopping... because you can never have too many shoes! Happy crafting! ♥

Gorgeous! I love that the space is part of your living area. I had a dedicated craft room until our daughter got old enough that I didn’t want her sharing a room with her brothers. I now work in our breakfast nook that is very accessible to the rest of the home.
