4th of July Mantel Decorations

Happy Tuesday! I am LOVING my 4th of July Mantel! Davis even admitted its his favorite mantel I’ve done yet. sweet. I had so much fun making festive 4th of July crafts over the weekend for it.  {yes, tutorials are coming this week!} I used navy blue and dark red and classic white.

My fave is the Star and Stripe wood sign. It turned out so gorgeous!

And of course, there are to be flags and polka dots!

I painted a mason jar red for a pretty flower vase. I got the white faux flowers on clearance at the craft store because they are labeled for spring. meh. White flowers are perfect any time of the year. ha!

I love it all! I love anything patriotic and yours is really different and fun!!! I’ll have to check out the Vaseline technique! The plate with the mini bunting is my favorite. As soon as I get over this graduation party on Saturday, I’ll be able to pull out all of my summer/patriotic decor!

This mini bunting is so cute, I did a very similar one for the Jubilee (I am in the UK) a couple of weeks ago! I used mine to decorate cupcakes…!

I saw your sign about a month ago and fell in love! I created my own version: Star & Chevron Striped Patriotic Sign here: http://www.simplydesigning.blogspot.com/2012/07/star-chevron-stripe-patriotic-sign-4th.html

Thanks for the inspiration! And have a happy fourth!
