What is a Silhouette?
A Silhouette is an electronic cutting tool. Similar to a home printer, it plugs into your PC or Mac® with a simple USB cable. But instead of printing, it uses a small blade to cut paper, cardstock, vinyl, fabric, magnet sheets, heat transfer, and more up to 10 feet long. The machine also boasts a quiet motor and the ability to register and cut printed materials.
Vinyl Craft Inspiration
Need a litte inspiration for how to use Premium Vinyl? Here is an easy headboard makeover I did for my little guys!
My 2 little guys are OBSESSED with helicopters and airplanes. I used the Navy Blue Premium Vinyl to add a helicopter to my boys’ new twin bed headboards. Let me tell you how incredibly excited they were! Such a simple thing totally made their day. I love that vinyl is removable so if/when they grow out of the helicopter stage, I can simply take off the decals. That way the bed can be a little boy bed and change to a big boy bed easily. I think its awesome to have furniture that appeals to my preschoolers, but still can be used when they’re older. And using vinyl is a great way to do that.
Happy crafting,
Linda
