hey friends! sorry to be mia for a couple days. i decided to take a few days off for Christmas and enjoy some time with the family…. but i’m back today to show off one of my handmade gifts i gave this year….an adorable ruffled camera strap slip cover that i made for my good friend, Cara. {yep, the one that helps me with the monthly craft kits :) anyways, she’s an avid photographer and so of course she needed a cute camera strap, right?!!
i knew cara loved that orange fabric and ruffles were a given. so i whipped up this lovely little camera strap for her for christmas. i think its ridiculously cute!
i made manually made the random ruffles as i was sewing for a completely custom look.
so what handmade gifts did you give this year??

I’m completely in love with that! Very inspiring! I just realized that I’ll need to make myself a strap cover for my new camera. Thanks for the idea! This year I was a total slacker on gifts period. The only handmade one I gave was a subway art sign to my parents.
Thanks, Maggie! That’s awesome you made a subway art sign for a gift! i’m sure they loved it. thanks for stopping by!

Cute! I was sick most of December, and didn’t get as many gifts completed as I’d hoped, but I did have lots of fun with glass etching pans. I’m hooked on etching cream now!
ooooo fun, Tanya!! hope you’re feeling better. its no fun being sick around the holidays. thanks for stopping by!
