I feel like I’m letting you look ya’ll look in my underwear drawer here! lol Please don’t judge too harshly! :) But some of you wanted to see my Pantry. I am a little bit of a neat freak. a little bit. I used to alphabetize my canned goods, but that was before little man was born.
Now I just alphabetize my spices :)
I still really enjoy organizing my pantry. I don’t know what it is, but I love trying to think of logical ways to organize the different foods. For example, canned goods and heavy items are lower so that if they fall, they won’t hurt as much and it’s also easier to see the different labels. Lighter things are on top. I put all the labels facing forward and group things together as best as possible.

glad im not the only ocd one. although even before kids i never set up my pantry in abc order…
(ummm…i guess you could say alphabetizing. ii have been helping at my kids school too long…)
We all have our quirks. I organize my pantry by groupings of foods. Pastas, cookies, crackers, chips in one section. Tomatoes sauce makings in another. Soups and broths in another. Paper goods together, etc.
But I have split my spices on 2 different shelves, depending upon where in the alphabet they fall! Not in an order on each shelf, but just a help when you start to look for something.

Love you pantry – read where you like to try different ways to organize it. I just decided to organize mine like a store – I put all the "italian" ingredients together, "asian" – "mexican" – "baking" – "kids stuff" – then we labeled each shelf. It helps my kids when they put away the groceries. A thought anyway…
I wish mine resembled anything close to that tidy!
i'm just as anal, my dh says he can shop just by looking at the empty spaces on our shelves (he knows what is supposed to be there) LOL :D

Why would anyone judge you for having an alphabetized pantry? I think it is awesome (but maybe that is because I couldn't do it and wish I could). ;)
