pom pom spider

Pom Pom Spider Craft

I have someone for you to meet today…… Steve the Pom Pom Spider! He’s round, he’s fuzzy, and he’s ridiculously adorable! No, he’s not just a yarn pom pom, he’s a jersey pom pom spider!

Needless to say, he’s a hit at our house! He’s so cute dangling from my mantel. this little guy is the perfect addition to our Halloween decor. And what’s really fun about Steve is…… he is made from t-shirt material or jersey/knit. I made him just like my t-shirt pom poms except I didn’t have a black shirt i wanted to cut up, so i used 1/4 of a yard of black lycra. {you know that swimsuit material….well, its cheap this time of the year!} I then hot glued some big googly eyes and pipe cleaner legs on and ta-da! You have a fuzzy little spider!

Spider Craft

pom pom, spider, halloween, craft,
Don’t those big googly eyes just make you melt?? Who said halloween decorations had to be scary? This spider craft is just too cute to pass up!black, spider, halloween, craft
he’s also super cute sitting on the mantel keeping an eye of everyone. {and out of the reach of some curious toddler hands. ha!} I love how cute he is. When I started out making him, I had no idea he’d turn out so adorable!

make your own pom pom spider! check out this tutorial on how to make a pom pom

*wouldn’t these spiders be SO perfect for a halloween party??*

Sooo cute! I love that fabric for this project too – just the right amount of sheen and how the fabric kinda curls up a little…..isn’t it great when you discover something by accident! I keep seeing these super cute projects, but I’m running out of room in the house to put them! LOL! Thanks so much for sharing!

The cutest spider I’ve ever seen — I definitely wouldn’t mind one that looked like this in my house, unlike the usual creepy crawlies we sometimes see :-) Great idea!

I love your Halloween mantle! I am taking my first adventure into decorating our mantle. Up to this point we have just had family pictures and other sentimental items on it. I would love to know where you obtained the Happy Halloween on the glass block?

I am going to be a college student in the fall and I am looking at ways to decorate my door room and I think that this would be really cute and also making an orange pom pom with a green leaf sewn on to make a pumpkin. These with the pearl wreathe are going to be my go-to decorations for holidays away from home. Thank you
