i am loving all the pedestal dishes that are everywhere right now! anything with a little stand is like 100 times cuter. no matter what it is. aaaand since you know how much i love milk glass {you can see my milk glass collection here} i had to make a pedestal something with it. so this is the adorable milk glass candy dish i made in a matter of about 30 seconds. {yes, that is an unverified time. knew i should have grabbed that stopwatch and a witness. haha}
and of course, this transformation isn’t complete without a ‘before’ picture……. {but doesn’t that candy corn look delish all orange and yellow and all? i love to add peanuts to my candy corns and eating them together. yummers!}
i took simple 3″ milk glass candlestick and used E6000 {awesome stuff!} and glued the candlestick to the bottom of a small milk glass bowl. sooooooo simple! i let it dry for a few hours and i now have the cutest little candy dish in the neighborhood!
this little dish would make a lovely house warming gift or even a thoughtful christmas gift. {anyone else starting to think about christmas gifts??}
