Happy Monday!! Are you ready to make some noise?! Here are some super fun and easy noise makers that are perfect for the littles! Kids will have fun making them AND using them to help cheer on their buddies, siblings, or team mates! And its a great upcycle craft to boot.
Noise Makers
Have your kiddos save their plastic bottles to make these! This is definitely a great upcycle craft. And you probably already have everything you need to make them on hand. Sweet!
How to Make Easy Noise Makers
Supplies: clean water bottles, funnel, measuring cup, rice {1/2 cup per noise maker}, glue, paper and embellishments.
Clean out the water bottles and let dry completely. Using the funnel and measuring cup, pour 1/2 cup dry rice into each water bottle. {you could also use beans, sand, small rocks, etc} Then replace the lid and twist tight. Use your glue to embellish with paper, ribbon, glitter, paint, etc. in your team’s colors.
Then give these bottles a little shake, and you got yourself an awesome noise maker to take to games!
These are great for all types of sports….. where noise is a good thing! {probably not the best idea for tennis or golf, or other quiet sports haha}
I decorated my water bottle noise maker in blue and white for BYU. Go Cougars!!
So easy, right? Love fun, easy crafts! I wrote this post for Homes.com blog a couple weeks ago and thought you guys might enjoy it as well!
What crafts do you like to make for fall sports? or tail gating?
happy crafting,

LOL…Never decorated my bottles except with color ribbon around the top…..but we never used rice either. We used rocks or marbles!
Here in Texas we use Cow Bells to make the most noise. And I have seen some mom’s take an old empty propane bottle and have them decorated as noise makers as well. My youngest daughter was telling me about them. I have not seen them as of yet. I will when we have our Home Coming Game in 2 weeks. Plenty of time to make lots of noise makers.
we have also used Rocks, Marbles, even dried beans, Old keys work great this way as well. Thanks for the tutorial on your noise maker, Guess I need to get busy and save the Gatorade bottles the kids bring home to drink.
