ok, heads up….i am really proud of my new business cards, i won’t lie. they’re pretty sweet. i decided that writing a craft blog meant i needed to have creative business cards. {light bulb} sadly, my previous cards were atrocious. generic. boring……. and so not me!! {i’ll save you from the horror of my old business cards} so are you ready? can you handle it?
now before you say a word, let me walk you through the coolness of this card…..don’t want ya to overlook a crucial detail or anything…..
1st {cool} factor: you can see a sneak peek of newest blog makeover. {which will make its grand appearance in a week or so}
2nd {cool} factor: i made my very own QR code. AND put it on my card. all by myself. {ok ok, so it was rather easy….} but i love that someone can scan my QR code with a smart phone and be immediately taken to my blog….without having to type in my blog address!! brilliant.
3rd {and most cool} factor: i used strips of selvage {you know, that small strip you always cut off fabric on both sides?}. i’ve been saving my selvage fabric because i just knew i could use it. somehow. i love how the selvage adds that “crafty element” to my cards. AND the beauty of it is, the selvage is already cut into thin strips from when it was cut off the fabric. so it was very easy to add to my cards with a simple, straight stitch.
these fab little cards made their debut at the Sweet Tea Social last saturday.
so what do you think? i rather like them…but i’m a bit biased. {and i put some sweat and tears into those thing. haha}
happy happy friday!
