I think the little frame a perfect addition to my St. Patrick’s Day mantel! I love it next to the yellow topiary. The colors go so nicely together.

How to Make a 3D Shamrock Frame

Supplies: green card stock, shamrock die cut {or you can trace and cut your own}, scissors, glue stick, pattern paper, green spray paint, square picture frame. {my picture frame has a 4″ x 4″ opening}

1. Cut 4 shamrocks out of the green card stock.

2. Cut a stem. {I free handed this}

3. Fold each of the shamrocks in half and crease well. {I use my finger nail to do this}

4. Glue the sides of the shamrocks together as shown above.

5. Cut your pattern paper to fit your picture frame.

6. Glue your stem and shamrock on the pattern paper.

7. Spray paint your picture frame green. Allow to dry thoroughly.

8. Then insert the pattern paper into your picture frame and decorate with it!

What’s cool about this is you can hang it on the wall or set it on a table or even on your mantel. Love a versatile holiday craft like that!
