Deer Couple Art
Ok, let’s chat about Deer. Or Stags. Or Bambi. I love them all! {ok, except the part where Bambi’s mom gets shot. That’s kinda sad.}
But deer are pretty awesome. And how do you make one deer MORE awesome? Add another deer! It works without fail, trust me.
So you might remember my Christmas Deer? Well, I couldn’t just stop there. I needed a Valentine Deer Couple too! So I whipped up this super easy and splendid looking deer art. Its perfect for Valentine’s Day or DIY Wedding decor or a wedding gift or a love note. See where I’m going with this?

How to Deer Couple Art Tutorial
Supplies:
- Silhouette CAMEO or Portrait
- Printable Gold Foil
- Double Sided adhesive
- Fine Red Glitter
- 12×12 Black and White Striped Scrapbook paper
- Paper Trimmer
- 8×10 White Frame
- Hook Tool {optional}
- Deer Couple Image {this will be available for purchase very soon! I’ll keep you updated! I am sorry! I was hoping to have it ready for you today, but its not. sad face.}
1. Open your Deer in Love design, load the gold foil into your Silhouette and cut using ‘Printable Gold Foil’ setting. Then load the double sided adhesive and cut it as well. {you only need the heart shape in the double side adhesive}
*I used my Silhouette Portrait for this quick easy Silhouette craft.
2. Using the hook tool, weed out your design.
3. Cut your striped paper to 8×10 size with a paper trimmer or craft knife and ruler. Remove paper backing on deer and carefully apply to striped paper.
4. Apply the double sided adhesive heart over opening in the design. Remove paper backing to reveal the adhesive.
5. Sprinkle a little red glitter over each heart until its covered in glitter. Shake off the excess and put back in glitter container, if you want or discard. Brush away any stray glitter pieces.
*This step is best done in a cookie sheet to help contain the glitter. :)
6. Then put your deer couple in a frame and enjoy!
What do you think? Valentine’s Day and/or Wedding? Or Both?!
