I’m a tag girl. I love tags….. for everything. Think organization, gifts, scrapbooking, gift giving….you can use tags all over the place! I am definitely a fan of Lifestyle Crafts newest line, Tag It die cuts. It comes with several different adorable styles of tags to play with so you can make your own homemade gift tags! Check out these DIY gift tags I made:
Homemade Gift Tags
I think these little tags will be PERFECT for christmas gift tags this year. Don’t you think? Add a little bakers twine and you have a cute homemade gift tag!
One thing that I really liked about the Tag It die cut set was that it came with a die for the small circle that fits around the hole. That little detail totally makes the tags!
I used my Epic 6 die cut tool with the Tag It dies. I placed my die with the cutting side up on the cutting platform and placed the paper on top. Then crank the handle and you’ll have a cute little tag die cut!
I used a adhesive to attach the small circle around the hole in the tag.
And of course, I had to add a little something to make these tags extra cute….a little selvage fabric ruffle! {similar to my business cards} This is a great way to use fabric scraps or to use the selvage from a piece of fabric. It only takes a little piece of fabric to make a cute ruffle for each tag!
Aren’t they pretty little homemade gift tags? A little lime green with hot pink never looked so good, right?!
