Crafty Space: Kimberly at Craftyland

are you ready for another AHmazing *craft room*? love what Kimberly did with the walls! enjoy!

Helloooo Craftaholics Anonymous readers! My name is Kimberly and I share my adventures in all things crafty over at my blog craftyland. I am thrilled to be here today to talk about my favorite room in the house – my craft room! I spent a good solid month transforming my space from a creepy dungeon room to a fun crafty space, complete with bright color palette and painted trellis wall. So imagine my excitement when Linda asked if I would share it with all of you – umm YES please!!
So without further ado.. here it is!
{you can see the before pics of the dungeon here}

Ain’t she cute? I can’t believe the transformation. I love being in there now, crafting up a storm! Here are a few features of the room.

First up is my oh-so-handy cutting table. I got two shelves from IKEA and turned them on their sides, pushed them together, and voila! I use this table as my main work area, I cut fabric, use my glue gun, cut and paste paper, paint, etc etc etc. Some nifty tins and old mason jars hold essentials like glue gun refills, scissors, exacto knives and my rotary cutter. The framed bulletin board is great for posting inspirational pics and pretty clippings I come across.

The best part of the cutting table is the storage! This is where I keep my newly neatly folded fabrics, and other craft supplies that were previously tucked into all corners of our bungalow.

My crafty space is also home to the biggest sewing desk I’ve ever had. It is great to have this much space to be able to spread out my projects as I work. {I need to get a seriously big cushion for that chair though!}

Hooks on the wall house shopping bags and my pink tool belt, and the ironing board is handy for my sewing projects. I really never need to leave this room when I’m in the middle of a project, everything I need for all my crafty adventures is here. If only I had a well stocked mini fridge and a tv in my crafty space I think I would really never leave.
Thanks so much for stopping by to read about my crafty space, and thanks again to Linda for having me!
Happy crafting!

Hi! I'm Linda, the craft addict behind Craftaholics Anonymous®, a craft blog. Crafting is cheaper than therapy, right? When I'm not DIYing something, I can be found taxiing around our 4 crazy kids or working out. Or shoe shopping... because you can never have too many shoes! Happy crafting! ♥
