Craftaholic of the Month- February

 i know i’m a tad late on this. ok, like almost a MONTH late! lol Oopsey{Daisy}! good thing i have Alison here from Oopsey Daisy to be my Craftaholic for the month of February! {sorry, couldn’t help myself!}

 anyways, i would like you to meet Alison! {isn’t she gorgeous?!} Alison went through a little Craftaholic Thereapy with me by answering some drilling questions. here’s what she had to say about her addiction to crafting….

  1. On a scale of 1 to 10, how severe is your Craftholicism? {1 mild, 10 should be admitted into the Crafting Rehab center} 9.  One step away from rehab!  I wouldn’t be surprised if there is an intervention any day now!  You know you’re a craftaholic when you spend more time crafting and blogging than sleeping! I stay up into the wee hours of the morning and wake up with crafting “hangovers.”  It’s always interesting to wake up and see what I’ve created in my crazy creative haze!
  2. Roughly how many hours a week do you obsess about crafting? Sheesh, I may just have to get out a calculator to answer this question!  Math is definitely not my forte.  Let’s just say that I am constantly thinking about my next crafting creation. Just as soon as my Little Man is sleeping, I spring into action with my latest creative endeavor. I actually dream about my crafts and go to bed concocting new ideas. They are the last thing I think about before I go to sleep.  (Sorry, babe!)
  3. What would you tell other addicts out there that are facing your same crafting issues? “See you in rehab!” High fives and knuckle bumping all around I would also tell my peeps that no one has their life completely put together.  I know I don’t!  There are a million things I could be doing better. But I craft because it keeps me sane, not necessarily because I have the extra time.  My husband travels all week long every week, so crafting is my essential “time for me.” So indulge a bit and make time for yourself without feeling guilty!
  4. Why do you think you were chosen for Craftaholic of the Month?  Most likely, I was chosen because dear sweet Linda realizes I need some group therapy. The first step is admitting I’m a craftaholic, right?!
  5. If you were one of your crafts, which one would you be?  Well, I would like to say I’m as organized as my FHE board, as sweet as my snickerdoodle muffins, as playful as my owl matching game, as energetic as my burlap bunnies, as entertaining as my Toy Story birthday party, and as unique as my quiet book.
  6. If you go for a long period without crafting, what happens to you? I go through sewing withdrawals and crave Mod Podge and spray paint.  It’s really quite a painful process.  I need a lot of shopping trips and pedicures to cope.  (My hubby has concluded that it is cheaper for me to craft!) I find it easier to simply indulge in my habits of choice.

 isn’t she a gem of an addict?! after reviewing her medical {crafting}chart, here are some findings that support my conclusion that Alison from Oopsey Daisy is 100% a Craftaholic!

 heart shaped cake pops- yum!

 awesome quiet books for church

 a ruffly ipod snuggie {you know i’m a sucker for a ruffle!}

Hi! I'm Linda, the craft addict behind Craftaholics Anonymous®, a craft blog. Crafting is cheaper than therapy, right? When I'm not DIYing something, I can be found taxiing around our 4 crazy kids or working out. Or shoe shopping... because you can never have too many shoes! Happy crafting! ♥
