Hey everyone! I’m Abbey from The Cards We Drew!

I’m so excited to be here today showing off my most favorite blog project to date…my CRAFT ROOM REVEAL! My work on this craft room spanned almost nine months due to indecisiveness and lack of time and money, so I am SO glad to have it done and be here sharing it with you today.

My craft room is a spare room off my basement that had been refinished by the previous owners, so when I started planning my space I knew I needed to make the room bright because natural lighting is limited to one small window. Let’s take a looksy….

Here’s my desk area and workspace! The desk and filing cabinets came with the house when we purchased it, I just gave them both a fresh coat of paint and decorated the filing cabinets. I used Valspar’s Dive In color on the walls for a nice bright, fresh feel to the room.

I found a Barn Owl Primitives sign at Home Goods and used some books and an Ikea shelf to decorate the wall near the door to the room.

For decorations for the room, I chose a fun Citrus Cardstock to make scalloped bunting and regular bunting for the walls and the shelf.

My favorite part of the room is my made over cane chair using a Suzani slub fabric off Etsy.

I wanted to balance the teal out with some other bright colors, so I chose yellow as the main accent to the room. The chevron rug was a great find from Urban Outfitters and really brightens the room up.

I’m pretty in love with my craft room and how bright and happy it is. It’s a hod podge of tons of different colors and ideas, but I think it’s the perfect reflection of me.

I hope you’ll stop by my blog and check out all the mini projects that led up to my craft room reveal. It was quite a labor of love!

Hugs, Abbey

Love it, Abbey! Thanks for sharing your lovely craft room. The colors look great together!

happy crafting,
