craft room tour from jen {you’ll love it!}

happy friday! today i have jen here to show off her lovely and very organized craft room. enjoy! -linda

Hello Craftaholics Anonymous fans, Jen here from CraftOManiac.

I am thrilled to be here on Linda’s blog for her awesome Craft Room (space) Tour. Thanks a Linda so much.

My craft space REVEAL is awesome mainly because I did it on such a super cheap budget.. keep reading. Not to mention I love my new creative space its safe to say I will {LIVE} in this space HA.

SO as mentioned, I AM MOST THRILLED WITH THIS PROJECT BECAUSE IT COST ME AROUND $20.00 BUCKS TOTAL!!! WHY “?” because I shopped my home! YEP’ that good Ol’ saying “Use what you have!” I cleaned and re-furbished pickle jars wrapped in rope, baby food jars to hold buttons and brads, I used what I had.  I also covered my huge craft table in a cut to fit hemmed drop flannel cloth, that I hemmed and hot glued to the table using velcro.
The white cubby shelf holding recycled baby food jars, my grandfather made me and I have had it for several years.I added paper to the back splash and filled it with the baby food jars.
I LOVE LOOKING at all the stuff and colors it truly inspires me. Not to mention looking at my children whom also inspire me.I created this space because I don’t have a spare craft room. THIS SO WORKS. Its a fairly large cubby space in our master bedroom. So I just really want you all to know, that you don’t have to feel bad if you don’t have a spare room for your crafting space. You can use a closet, a  nook, a corner of a room, etc.

HERE IS THE DREADED BEFORE
 Sighhhhh….
AFTER

and I am sure as most things go for me… I will keep tweaking things until I feel its flawless. ;)

I covered a frame I had in the home with rolled rosettes that were hot glued on.

and I re-furbed the  mannequin.  She is to hang scissors, tape measures, etc.

-you can also find the cute {Keep calm and get your craft on} sign at FunkyPolkadot Giraffe here

-the burlap tags that have sew on it, bulletin sticky board, mini wrapped canvases, calender with chalk paper header, and the cubby back splash paper are all from Canvas Corp

THANK YOU AGAIN Linda this was so fun. I sure would love you all to stop by my blog and have some inspirational fun.

Hi! I'm Linda, the craft addict behind Craftaholics Anonymous®, a craft blog. Crafting is cheaper than therapy, right? When I'm not DIYing something, I can be found taxiing around our 4 crazy kids or working out. Or shoe shopping... because you can never have too many shoes! Happy crafting! ♥

This. Is. Awesome! I am so excited, because I honestly felt like I had no space for a craft room in my house. But I see how you have taken a small space, and turned it into something great! I am definitely inspired, and have the perfect little nook in mind, Thanks!

I love this space Jen, so bright and colorful. One of my favorite craft spaces was in a closet, no room for intruders :) The cute teacup ribbon holder is awesome and on $20!! I see people lined up with 20’s saying “please come over”

I love the way the ribbon is stored & so bright & organized. I need a bigger table & love the idea of a bench so more than one can craft or be together. Have a great weekend!

This is a great craft space. I like all the attention to detail, right down to tying bows on the stool’s legs. So fun.

I loved seeing a craft space in the corner of a bedroom as that is what I have right now. Also, I totally used to have that desk in your before picture. My brother has it now.

I SO love this crafting space idea, esp in a closet… in fact, I have a closet that I thought about doing this very project with. Of course, my husband gave me that “your nuts” look, considering he grew up in an old house with NO closets. I think your’s is terrific. Thanks for sharing your photos!

I am so glad I saw your craft space. Mine will be part of my master closet as storage and bringing everything out when it’s time to craft. I was down trying to think of ways not to spend lots of money and not having an extra room. Your space has given me ideas to store items in the closet and even rearrange my bedroom to make a space. Thanks for sharing!
