Cards, Camera Strap, and Paper!

Happy Monday! Did you have a nice weekend? I was crafting up a storm over here! I’ll be showing you the fun goodies I played with tomorrow. Today, I have a couple of small projects to show off and a really great sale to tell you about.

Ruffled Camera Strap

ruffled camera strap

I made this ruffly camera strap slip cover for my Nikon D60.I’ve been obsessed with turquoise and green lately. This color combo is in my front room {hoping to reveal the transformation soon!!}, my kitchen, and my iphone cover. I don’t know what it is, but I’m totally digging teal + green!

{all you camera nerds will probably laugh that I shoot a D60…. but hey, it works! someday, i’ll convince davis to let me upgrade. for now, i’m working on upgrading my lenses. baby steps, right?}

And of course, polka dots!! I made this camera strap in January before I went to CHA because I had to have something cute around my neck.

Simple Thank You Card

handmade thank you card

 I sewed some fabric scraps into ruffles for a simple thank you note I sent to a publisher recently. {recognize that teal polka dot fabric ha!} I’ve said it before, but I really do hang onto almost all my fabric scraps. There are just so many ways to reuse those tidbits of fabric!

And once again, I used turquoise and green together. Is it just me or are they pretty rad together??
