How to Crochet Trick or Treat Bag

Materials

  • Worsted weight cotton yarn in yellow, orange, and white
  • Size H (5.0 mm) crochet hook
  • Yarn needle
  • Scissors

Rnd 17: ch 2, hdc in each st around, sl st to join (48 hdc). Finish off, weave in ends. Rnd 18: Join yellow yarn, ch 2, hdc in each st around, sl st to join (48 hdc). Rnd 19: ch 2, hdc in each st around, sl st to join (48 hdc). Rnd 20: ch 2, hdc in next 6 sts, 2 hdc in next st; *hdc in next 7 sts, 2 hdc in next st; repeat from * around; sl st to join (54 hdc). Rnd 21: ch 2, hdc in each st around, sl st to join (54 hdc). Rnd 22: ch 2, hdc in each st around, sl st to join (54 hdc). Rnd 23: ch 2, hdc in next 7 sts, 2 hdc in next st; *hdc in next 8 sts, 2 hdc in next st; repeat from * around; sl st to join (60 hdc). Rnd 24: ch 2, hdc in each st around, sl st to join (60 hdc). Rnd 25: ch 2, hdc in each st around, sl st to join (60 hdc). Rnd 26: ch 2, (working in back loops only, sc in each st around, sl st to join (60 sc). Finish off, weave in ends. candy corn trick or treat bag To finish the bag, you will make two handles and sew them on to the bag using yarn and a yarn needle. Handle Pattern Row 1: Ch 42, hdc in third ch from hook, hdc in each ch (40 hdc). Row 2: Ch 2, hdc in each st, finish off, weave in ends (40 hdc).       Round 9 instructions are under the picture showing the bottom of the bag. On page 4, when you print it out. It’s one line and says ….Join orange yarn, ch2, working in back loops only, hdc in each st aroun, sl to join (30 hdc).
