Easy Burlap Pillow

Burlap is so itchy, stinky, and messy fun to use! The texture is to die for. But seriously, does it have to be so messy?! Am I the only one that has my vacuum armed and ready while I’m working with burlap? Anyways, I really do love burlap. I suppose it’s more of a love/hate relationship though. And you know, tan burlap is fabulous and all, but I have enough tan around my house. I want me some color!! So I’ve been using the “other” burlap colors. As in brown, white, and red. I made my Give Thanks pillow using the leftover brown burlap from my crib spring makeover. For a quick pillow tutorial, check out La T Da.
And this Be Merry pillow is made from the leftovers of another freakin awesome burlap project that I’ll be unveiling very soon…. sorry for the suspense, but I not quite done. :)
And in the middle of making these pillows awesome pillows, I ran out of batting. So one of them is stuffed with these:
Kind of embarrassing, but I didn’t want to run to the store just to buy more batting when we have a bajillion of these laying around. Can you guess which pillow is stuffed with grocery sacks?
And just so you know, I think the grocery sacks did a better job of stuffing….
