Wooden Snowman Tutorial

supplies:

  • 2×4 cut to 6 inches long {included in kit}
  • 2×4 cut to 8.5 inches long {included in kit}
  • white paint
  • paint brush
  • black marker
  • liquid glue
  • glitter
  • sandpaper
  • fabric for scarfs {included in kit}

  1. sand the edges of the wood.
  2. paint the wood white. spray paint or craft paint works great.
  3. draw 2 eyes with the marker. *tip: i tied the fabric scarf on so i could use it as a reference for eye placement.

4. apply a thick coat of liquid glue to all sides {except the bottom} with the paint brush. i used Decoupaige which acts as a sealer as well.

5. while the glue is still wet, sprinkle on glitter. *Tip: do this inside of a box or a cookie sheet to catch the excess glitter. brush out any glitter that fell onto the eyes.

6. tie on the fabric scarf. and you’re done!!

love them! they are going on my winter mantel. {will post pics next week}
