What’s in my bag?

Happy happy Monday! So I thought it would be fun to post a random post today. I’ve got a big announcement coming up and so I haven’t had as much time to craft as usual. And plus, I thought it would be fun to mix things up and do something a little different today and show you what is in my hand bag these days……

My Bag

This is my current bag. Got it on clearance at Kohls and I absolutely love it! Its really not as big as it looks, the chair is actually sort of small. {I stole this chair out of my craft room for this photo shoot} I love all the different pockets and compartments it has. And the ruffley flowers on the front are so pretty!

In my Bag

Now here’s the embarrassing party….

  •  Jessica Simpson clutch/pocketbook. Totally love pulling it out of my bag because its so cute!
  • TOYS! Yes, I’m a mom so these are essential. My energetic and crazy boys love dinos!
  • Hand Sanitizer, a must for every mom!
  • Lip gloss
  • The pink foil is a smashed hershey’s kiss. I actually don’t like chocolate…..this is a just in case I need a little bribery when I’m out and about with the boys. Nope, I’m not above bribery!
  • Washi tape
  • Fruit snacks, for the kids….and sometimes me!
  • My business card holder
  • HUGE stack of business cards that I collected at the blogging conferences and events I attended this year.
  • A bag a peanuts from a flight to one of the blogging conferences
  • A fork. you just never know when you’re going to need a fork!

And wait, there’s more!!

  • My keys. I made my keyring wristlet a couple years ago. Really need to make a new one!
  • Downeast catalog. I live on the east coast, so this is the only way I can get my Downeast fix! {they ironically are a west coast company} Love their cute clothes.
  • A pen.
  • Brown Bear book. One of our favorite books!
  • Costco coupons. We are Costco addicts and would possibly starve without that store!
  • McD’s coupons. Got these at the Evo blogging conference.

So that’s the craziness you’ll find in my hand bag these days! Hope you enjoyed this small glimpse into my bag.

Please tell me I’m not the only one that carries a fork around in their purse! haha What crazy things do you carry in your hand bag?

happy crafting,

Linda

I always have my stash of local craft store coupons….the ladies at JoAnns now ask me where are my coupons (instead of ‘if I have any’) *smile* My contents pretty much look like yours, add wet wipes, a thimble, straws, and hot wheel cars. I guess the oddest thing I have carried in my purse was a regulation sized soccer ball (could not zip shut). But whatever my kids (b4, b8, g10)hand me usually end up in my purse.

I actually carry a fork, a straw, a toothbrush (never know!) napkins, little people dolls, a pen, scraps of paper, snacks, a change of undies (for DD, who’s potty training…not for me!) Yep, that’s usually what’s in my bag. Love that Simpson clutch!

Well Linda I do not carry a fork but everyone makes fun of all the good stuff I do have in my purse. I have a roll of Charmin to go and the Charmin toliet seat covers. Hand sanitizer, lotion, tissues, mini pads, wisp toothbrushes, dental floss, lip balm, Abreva, nail clippers, Tylenol, Neosporin and bandaids, 2 coupons holders, one for food and one for crafts. Wallet, sun glasses, camera and cell phone. A small make up bag without any make up just my saving cards for scrapbook stores. Oh yeah and my keys…
No wonder they make fun of me.

Your bag contents are much better than mine I may not have a fork but it is a hot mess. I think the weirdest thing in there right now are the coke/poweraid tops I find on the ground, can’t let those My Coke Points go to wast now can I? I also love your bag! It’s so cute. I am glad you posted the link to the post again today on Facebook. Being sick and needing to blog about something does not lend to creative thinking. I hope you don’t mind if I use your idea for today’s post, I am linking back to you in it.

I don’t carry a fork but I do bring a spoon everywhere. I’ve got a 15 mo old and I find it’s harder to find a small spoon than any other utensil when out and about.
