Valentine’s Day Washi Tape Hearts

Ready for the EASIEST Valentine’s Day craft ever that looks totally awesome?? Check out this Washi Tape Heart art I did! Yep, another way to use all that fun tape you’ve collected! Decorative tape is so fun to craft with. {Click here to see a little behind the scenes from this project on Instagram!} washi-tape-hearts2 I used Scotch® Expressions Magic Tape in red, purple, hot pink, and teal. Such a fun color combo for Valentine’s Day!  washi tape hearts pinAll you need is Scotch® Expressions tape, rotary cutter, self healing cutting mat, white card stock, paper trimmer, and an 8″ square white frame.

tape-hearts4Cut two 1.5″ strips of tape for each heart.

You could use scissors if you wanted, but I found that a rotary and a self healing cutting mat was the most precise way to cut the tape. That way I could get exactly straight lines and hearts that are all the same size.

washi-tape-hearts2 So how’s that for the easiest Valentine’s Day craft ever? It looks totally awesome too!

This is so cute! I love how the centers of the hearts are a little darker.
