t-shirt makeover

The Project: making over an old t-shirt
While my hubs was out of town Wednesday night, I found this fabulous tutorial on a t-shirt makeover. I just had to do it! And I had the perfect t-shirt for the project: an old long sleeve pink Gap t-shirt I bought in Jackson Hole, WY years ago. I loved the shirt, but never wore it anymore. I’ll admit, the first snip with the scissors freaked me out but after the first snip there was no turning back!
I didn’t take a before picture but here’s the final product. Sorry it’s kinda bad. I’m not very good at taking my own picture! :)

Things I would do differently or fix: the arm holes are too big because I kept the same arm hole width from when it was a long sleeve t-shirt. Next time I would adjust the arm hole opening to be smaller. Maybe I’ll try and fix mine, we’ll see. For now I’ll just wear a shirt underneath.
