Simple Nautical Wreath + Craft Room Inspiration Week announcement

Happy Thursday! We are getting ready to go to the beach for a much deserved vacation. ahhh! So excited! We have a family tradition of going to the Outer Banks for a week each year. We love it there! So to prepare for our beach week, I hung my nautical wreath {from my nautical mantel} on my front door. And let’s just say, I am more than ready for some sand between my toes!

Nautical Wreath

The navy blue and white stripe ribbon is so perfect for this wreath! The cute bunting was original from the 4th of July but it totally doubles well as a nautical bunting. This wreath was really simple and easy to make. I hot glued two inch strips of red and white fabric around a STYROFOAM wreath form. Then hot glued some hemp twine around the wreath where the two colors meet to look like a life preserver.  I then attached the bunting to the twine.

This nautical wreath just puts me in a good mood! Love me some waves, sunshines, and sand. awww.

craft roomsSpeaking of being on vacation new week, I will be taking some time off from blogging. But don’t worry! I have big plans for you guys. I have put together a Craft Room Inspiration Week where 5 crafters will give you tours of their craft rooms and give you ideas and tips on organizing all those crafting supplies. Sounds like fun huh? I have some really great tours lined up! Each day you get to look forward to drooling over pretty craft rooms and getting inspired with great ideas for your own crafting space. Its going to be a really fun week! It all starts on Monday, Sept. 8. So make sure you stop by and check it out!
