Supplies:

  • Scotch® Precision Ultra Edge Non-Stick Scissors
  • Scotch® Expressions Magic Tapes in Red, Green, Green Lines, Lime Green and Stitch
  • craft knife
  • 2 pieces of white cardstock
  • white 8×10 picture frame
  • paper trimmer {optional}
  • die cutter {optional}

Instructions:

Apply Scotch® Expressions Magic Tape at an angle across one piece of cardstock. Continue to cut pieces of tape and apply them next to the previous piece of tape at an angle in a repeating pattern until entire sheet of paper is covered.

Use a craft knife to trim the excess tape around the perimeter of the cardstock. Then with a paper trimmer or scissors, cut the taped paper to be 8″x10″ so that it fits in the picture frame.

Using a die cutting tool or craft knife to cut out the word “JOY” on the second sheet of white cardstock. If you do not have a die cut tool, you can use scissors. Then trim the Joy paper to be 8×10 to fit the frame.

Place the “JOY” cardstock into the picture frame first, and then layer the taped cardstock behind it.

Secure the back of the frame and hang on the wall or place on a side table! Now off to make one for each holiday, right?!
